We’re actively seeking qualified professionals in the following languages and roles:
Level 3 Community Interpreting Assessors
Languages Needed:
Dari | German | Kurdish Kurmanji | Nuer | Pashto | Punjabi (Indian & Pakistani)
What You’ll Do:
Provide constructive feedback on learners’ performance during roleplays and sight translations, assess their interpreting skills, and guide them toward achieving their Level 3 Certificate in Community Interpreting.
Requirements:
- Hold a Level 6 interpreting qualification (DPSI,DCI, or equivalent)
- 5+ years professional interpreting experience
- Passion for supporting learner development
Level 6 DPSI Law Tutors & Examiners
Languages Needed:
Georgian | Nepali | Portuguese | Russian | Tamil | Tigrinya
What You’ll Do:
As a tutor, you will prepare learners to sit the DPSI exams, by providing detailed feedback on their performance during roleplays, sight translations, and written translations.
Examiners will assess candidates’ performance on the oral and written exam units of the Level 6 DPSI Law qualification. Examiners are external to the tutoring.
Requirements:
- Hold a Level 6 DPSI Law qualification (or equivalent)
- 5+ years of professional interpreting experience post-qualification
- Commitment to mentoring and developing future legal interpreters
DipTrans Examiners
Languages Needed:
Tigrinya | Burmese | Turkish
What You’ll Do:
Assess candidates’ translation submissions for the Level 7 Diploma in Translation exam (DipTrans), ensuring candidates meet the golden standard in professional translation.
Requirements:
- Hold a Level 7 DipTrans qualification or equivalent
- 5+ years of professional translation experience
- Strong understanding of translation quality standards
