Frequently Asked Questions
Is this qualification internationally recognised?
It is a nationally recognised qualification because it focusses on the UK Criminal Justice and legal system. You would need to check with the relevant organisations abroad to see if they accept this.
Do I need to complete a preparatory course before sitting the exam?
Many candidates sit the exam with little to no preparation, which accounts for the low pass rate for this qualification. Therefore, we recommend you attend a preparatory course before you attempt the exam.
Is the registration (certification) fee included in the exam price?
No, the registration fee of £185 is payable upon successfully passing all 5 units of the exam in order to claim your diploma.
Do you offer the option to bundle the course and exam together?
Yes, we offer a bundle that includes the DPSI Law One-to-One preparatory course and the Exam: All Units. Here you save £50 and have the option to spread the payments over 10 months.

What if I fail one or more of the units?
You have 3 years to retake and pass the failed units. Once you successfully pass all 5 units you will be asked to pay the £185 registration fee so that the awarding body issues your diploma.
