Overview
The Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI) – Law option, is a nationally-recognised qualification that serves as a benchmark for professional standards in the interpreting profession.
DPSI Online offers this exam fully online every month from February to November.
The DPSI Law qualification is Ofqual regulated and the diploma awarded by iCQ is recognised by the NRPSI and PAIT.
Upcoming Exam Dates
Exams are held every month except for December/January.
Please register at least 5 weeks before your chosen exam date.
October 2024: 15th (Oral Units) and 16th (Written Units)
November 2024: 19th (Oral Units) and 20th (Written Units)
February 2025: 18th (Oral Units) and 19th (Written Units)
March 2025: 18th (Oral Units) and 19th (Written Units)
Exam Units
Unit 01 – Interpret consecutively and simultaneously to and from English in Legal, Police and Immigration contexts
Unit 02 – Provide a sight translation into English in Legal, Police and Immigration contexts
Unit 03 – Provide a sight translation from English in Legal, Police and Immigration contexts
Unit 04 – Provide a written translation into English in Legal, Police and Immigration contexts
Unit 05 – Provide a written translation from English in Legal, Police and Immigration contexts
