Overview
The Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI) – Law option, is a nationally-recognised qualification that serves as a benchmark for professional standards in the interpreting profession.
DPSI Online offers this exam fully online every month from February to November.
The DPSI Law qualification is Ofqual regulated and the diploma awarded by iCQ is recognised by the NRPSI and PAIT.

May 2026: 12th (Oral Units) and 13th (Written Units)
June 2026: 16th (Oral) and 17th (Written)
July 2026: 14th (Oral) and 15th (Written)

October 2026: 13th (Oral) and 14th (Written)

Exam Units
Unit 01 – Interpret consecutively and simultaneously to and from English in a Legal context
Unit 02 – Provide a sight translation into English in a Legal context
Unit 03 – Provide a sight translation from English in a Legal context
Unit 04 – Provide a written translation into English in a Legal context
Unit 05 – Provide a written translation from English in a Legal context
