Latest Update
The industry is changing. That’s good news for you.
From October 2026, the MoJ requires Level 6 qualifications for court and complex legal work. The interpreters who qualify now will already be there – on the register, taking better paid assignments, building the career they’ve been working towards.
This is your window of opportunity.
October Live Intensive Schedule
4x Live Weekly Saturday Tutorials
Each session is led by an expert tutor and covers the legal settings you’ll work in as a qualified legal interpreter.
Police Interviews & Witness Taking
Courts & Criminal & Family Law
Prison, Probation & Immigration
Ethics & Ethical Dilemmas
8 Private Sessions with a Language Tutor
Twice per week, you’ll have a private session with a tutor in your language pair, where you will practise with Role plays (RPs) and Sight Translations (STs) and get personalised verbal feedback on your performance. You will also complete written translations, to and from English, which will be marked according to the criteria for this qualification, making sure your translations are fit for purpose.
Every session is designed to mirror real exam conditions, so by the time November arrives, you feel confidently prepared.
Having guidance from a trained and qualified tutor with experience will enhance your chances of passing the exams.
This is for you if...
… you are already working as an interpreter and you’re ready to take your career to the next level.
… you are comfortable with consecutive and simultaneous interpreting, the code of conduct, introducing yourself and intervening appropriately, note-taking, and working across various community settings.
… you hold a level 3 CI qualification or have a minimum of 2 years of professional experience.
If you’re earlier on in your journey, our Level 3 CI Course is the best place to start.
