We’re very excited to announce the launch of this course in September 2017.
The course is accredited by Ofqual and certificates are awarded by Training Qualifications UK (TQUK). It is ideal for students who have completed the Level 3 or Level 4 in Community Interpreting and wish to be qualified to work with the courts and police, or to develop their skills to work in more complex areas such as business settings. The DCI is a portfolio-based qualification and the course is suitable for learners who have a flair for academic work, as most of the coursework is geared to allow the researcher in you to develop your knowledge of all areas of the public service interpreting field in the UK. Besides their main Legal or Health interpreting pathway, students will be able to take on additional modules such as interpreting in business settings, financial settings and others.
The application and course requirements are published on our DCI Level 6 course page. Contact us if you have any questions!
